Getting started
How do I get a printing quote in Dar es Salaam?+
Send artwork, a photo, or just an idea on WhatsApp to +255 785 078 827 or email mehdipanjwani7@gmail.com. Most quotes land the same day with production and installation included.
Is Vivid Measured a registered company?+
Yes. Vivid Measured (T) Limited is registered with BRELA under Company No. 181095733, based on Muhoro Street, Jangwani, Dar es Salaam.
I have no artwork. Can you still help?+
Yes. An in-house designer prepares logos and layouts free with every job, so a phone photo or a rough idea is enough to start.
What is the minimum order?+
Small runs are welcome, from single stickers and one rollup upward. Bulk quantities cut unit cost sharply under one combined quote.
Nawezaje kupata nukuu haraka?+
Can I order without visiting your office?+
Yes. Everything runs through WhatsApp: send the photo or artwork, approve the free design, receive the written quote, pay, and production starts. Delivery and installation are scheduled to your address.
Do you quote in English or Swahili?+
Both. The team quotes and follows up in whichever language you start the conversation in, and written quotations are issued on request in either language.
What details should my first message include?+
Four things: what the item is (sign, banner, stickers), its size if you know it, where it will be placed or delivered, and your deadline. A photo of the wall, vehicle or venue answers most of it at once.
Can you work from a competitor sample or a photo of someone else’s print?+
Yes, with one condition: the design must be yours. We will recreate layouts, sizes and finishes from a sample photo for your own brand, but we will not copy another business’s branding or reproduce trademarked artwork.
Do you serve individuals or only companies?+
Both. Walk-in individuals order single banners and stickers; companies, schools, NGOs and government institutions order programmes and fleet work with LPO and invoice processing.
What are your working hours?+
The office operates standard business hours Monday to Saturday, and WhatsApp +255 785 078 827 is monitored beyond those hours for urgent jobs. Event work runs on the schedule your event demands, including weekends.
Prices and payment
How much does vehicle branding cost in Tanzania?+
It depends on vehicle size and full or partial wrap. Send a vehicle photo plus your logo on WhatsApp for a firm quote, usually the same day.
How much does a shop sign cost?+
It depends on size, material, lighting and installation height. A facade photo plus width and height gets you an exact quote with installation included.
How much does a billboard campaign cost?+
Printing depends on size and material while roadside space is rented separately. Vivid Measured quotes space guidance, print, structure and installation as one package.
How do I pay?+
Bank transfer, mobile money and cash on agreed terms. Email quotations support LPO processing for companies, schools and institutions.
WhatsApp +255 785 078 827.
Do you ask for a deposit?+
Standard practice is a deposit to start production and the balance on completion or delivery, agreed in writing on the quotation. Institutional clients on LPO terms follow their invoicing cycle.
Why is one written quote better than a verbal estimate?+
A written quote fixes the scope: size, material, coating, installation date and total price. Verbal estimates shift when the work starts; ours do not, because everything the job needs is written into the number before production begins.
Does the quote include installation?+
Yes. Quotes state installation as a line item so you can see it, and the crews are ours, not subcontractors discovered on arrival day. Jobs that genuinely need no installation are quoted without it.
Is design really free? What is the catch?+
There is no catch. Design is part of the production job: our in-house designer prepares and revises your layout until you approve it, because a job we printed wrong costs us more than the design ever would.
Do prices change with quantity?+
Yes, downward. Unit cost falls as quantity rises because setup is shared across the run. One combined quote for everything you need is always cheaper than three separate small orders.
Do you offer credit terms?+
Registered companies, schools and institutions with LPOs can be served on invoicing terms after a simple account conversation. Individuals and new customers order on deposit and balance.
Vehicle branding
Which vehicles can you brand?+
Cars, pickups, trucks, daladalas, bodabodas, school buses and fleets, with full wraps, partial wraps, cut lettering and reflective markings.
Will the wrap damage my vehicle paint?+
No. Quality vinyl fitted properly protects paint underneath and removes cleanly when campaigns end.
How long does vehicle wrap vinyl last?+
Years, because every wrap leaves with UV protection coating and tucked sealed edges built for Tanzanian sun, rain and car washes.
Full wrap or partial branding: which should I choose?+
Full wrap turns the vehicle into a moving billboard and protects the paint beneath; partial branding covers doors, bonnet and rear at lower cost and still works hard in traffic. Many fleets start partial and upgrade vehicles gradually.
How long does it take to brand a vehicle?+
Partial branding is often same-day. A full wrap typically takes one to two days including surface preparation, with the fitting date written into the quote.
Can you brand a whole daladala or bus fleet to match?+
Yes. Fleets are branded in single orders so every vehicle carries identical colours, layout and contact details, with per-unit pricing that falls as the fleet size grows.
Do bodaboda branding stickers survive rain and sun?+
The reflective and UV-coated stocks we fit are chosen exactly for that: they hold colour through rain seasons and direct sun instead of peeling within weeks like cheap film.
Can branding be removed when I sell the vehicle?+
Yes. Wraps and cut vinyl remove with heat, leaving the original paint underneath, which is one reason branded vehicles resell cleanly after a campaign.
Je, mnabandika magari hadi mikoani?+
Ndiyo.
Signage and billboards
Which shop sign works best at night?+
A lightbox or backlit 3D letters. Both stay readable after dark when most foot traffic passes.
Can you get me billboard space, not just printing?+
Yes. Finding and renting roadside or city billboard space, printing, structure work, installation and campaign maintenance come as one package.
Do I need permits for outdoor signs?+
Most outdoor and roadside advertising needs municipal approval. Vivid Measured guides you through what your specific sign needs so installation never stalls.
Do you do digital boards and LED screens?+
Yes. Sourcing, content design and installation are arranged through trusted partners with Vivid Measured managing the whole job.
Fascia, lightbox or 3D letters: what is the difference?+
Fascia is a flat printed board, the economical choice. A lightbox is an illuminated box that owns the night. 3D letters stand off the wall in acrylic or alloy for a premium depth effect, optionally backlit. Each suits different budgets and streets.
How long does a shop sign take from approval to installation?+
Most shop signs complete within three to seven days of design approval, including fabrication and fitting, and installation is scheduled on a written date.
Can an old signboard be refurbished instead of replaced?+
Often yes: re-facing a sound structure with fresh printed faces or new letters costs a fraction of a new build. Send a photo of the current sign and the quote will say honestly which route is cheaper.
What size sign does my shopfront actually need?+
Rule of thumb: letter height readable from across the road, width matched to the fascia, and lighting matched to trading hours. The quote process starts with your facade photo and wall measurements.
Do you install signs at height or on busy roads?+
Yes. Crews work with the right access equipment and schedule high or roadside installations for low-traffic windows, coordinated with the quote.
Printing and stickers
How fast can banners print?+
Most banners, stickers and rollups are ready within 24 to 48 hours from artwork approval. Rush same day service is possible for standard sizes.
What is contravision used for?+
One way vision film for vehicle windows and glass fronts. You see out, the street sees your advert.
Are your stickers waterproof?+
Yes, waterproof stocks with UV coating survive fridges, rain and sun. Standard paper stickers are quoted separately for indoor use.
What sizes can you print?+
Any size up to full billboard scale. Send wall or frame dimensions and layouts are scaled exactly.
What sticker types do you print?+
Die-cut shapes, clear, reflective, fridgesafe, product labels, bumper stickers, car decals and large-format stickers, each matched to the right stock: paper for indoor, vinyl for water and sun.
Can stickers be cut to my logo shape?+
Yes. Die-cut cutting follows your artwork outline, so a logo-shaped sticker is cut to the logo rather than boxed in a rectangle.
Do you print product labels for small businesses?+
Yes, from honey jars and spices to cosmetics and beverages: waterproof stocks, accurate colour matching across reprint batches, and small runs that let new brands start without a warehouse of labels.
How many stickers make the unit price sensible?+
Setup is shared across the run, so the more you print the less each costs. Even runs of a few hundred are common for small brands; the quote shows exactly where the per-unit price lands at your quantity.
Can you match my brand colours exactly on reprints?+
Yes. Colour references are kept from your first job so follow-up batches match, which matters when labels and packaging must look identical months apart.
Events and promotions
What does a full event branding package include?+
Backdrop, stage branding, banners, rollups, tear drops, delegate badges, programmes, directional signs and guest giveaways, installed as one package.
Do you brand weddings?+
Yes. Photo backdrops, entrance banners, programmes, table numbers, car stickers and favours in matching colours, with installation crews on site.
Do you stay on site during events?+
Crew standby during events is available on request for fixes, reprints and last minute additions.
How early should I order event printing?+
One to two weeks is comfortable for a full package. Inside three days we shift to rush mode: doable for most items, but the earlier the order the calmer the week and the better the price.
Can a backdrop be reused across several events?+
Yes. Step-and-repeat backdrops with dated elements kept separate (or printed as replaceable panels) serve conferences and annual events for years.
Do you print t-shirts for events, campaigns and teams?+
Yes: promotional tees, staff uniforms and campaign shirts with the method chosen for your design and quantity, from a handful to hundreds.
What does a conference package cost?+
It depends on delegate numbers and the item list. Send the programme and expected attendance to WhatsApp +255 785 078 827 and the package is quoted as one programme: backdrops, badges, signage, folders and giveaways together cost less than item-by-item.
Can you print and install for events outside Dar es Salaam?+
Yes. Event packages are delivered and installed in every mainland region on written schedules, with travel logistics stated in the quote upfront.
Materials explained
What is contravision?+
One way vision film for vehicle windows and glass fronts. You see out, the street sees your advert. Ideal for daladalas, shop glass and office partitions.
What is a tear drop banner?+
A curved outdoor flag that spins in wind instead of tearing. The default for petrol stations, shop openings, roadshows and event gates.
What is a rollup banner?+
A retractable indoor display that sets up in a minute with no tools. Used in receptions, conference halls, bank queues and exhibition booths.
What is a lightbox sign?+
An illuminated sign box readable after dark. Pharmacies, supermarkets and restaurants use them to stay visible when most foot traffic passes.
What is UV protection coating?+
A clear protective layer over outdoor prints that blocks ultraviolet fading, cracking and peeling. Standard on all Vivid Measured outdoor work.
What are 3D letters?+
Cut acrylic or alloy letters mounted with depth for a premium look, optionally backlit for night glow. Used by offices, banks and boutiques.
Heavy banner material or light: when does each make sense?+
Light material suits short events where the banner comes down after a weekend. Heavy material with welded hems earns its price when the banner lives outdoors for months, because wind and sun destroy light stock long before heavy stock ages.
Why do welded hems matter on outdoor banners?+
Glued or taped edges peel in the first serious wind. Welded hems fuse the material so eyelets hold tension across the banner’s whole life, which is why ours are standard.
Matte or gloss finish for outdoor prints?+
Gloss makes colours punch and is standard with UV coating outdoors; matte kills glare for photography backdrops and indoor display. The quote matches finish to use, not to habit.
Delivery and coverage
Do you deliver outside Dar es Salaam?+
Yes. Installation crews travel anywhere on Tanzania mainland on written schedules, with Zanzibar served on special request.
How long does installation take?+
Most shop signs complete in a day. Billboards, fleets and full events run on written schedules agreed at quotation.
Do outdoor prints survive Tanzanian weather?+
Yes. UV protection coating is standard on all outdoor work, so colours hold for years instead of months.
Mnafikisha hadi Mwanza, Arusha na Dodoma?+
Ndiyo.
How is delivery charged upcountry?+
Honestly: logistics appear as their own line in the quote based on destination and load, never hidden inside an inflated print price. Shared loads along common routes keep the line small.
Can I collect my order instead of delivery?+
Yes. Collection from Jangwani, Dar es Salaam is welcome and the quote drops the delivery line accordingly.
What if my print arrives damaged?+
Photograph it and message WhatsApp +255 785 078 827 immediately. Jobs damaged in our production or transport are remade at our cost; that accountability is written into every quote.

Can fishermen associations and lake businesses order in bulk?+
Yes. Bulk banner and signage orders for associations, SACCOs and market businesses around the lake are quoted as one programme with per-unit pricing that rewards the volume.
Do Mwanza prices differ from Dar es Salaam prices?+
The print price is the same national cash price; only logistics differ, and logistics appear as their own visible line in the quote rather than being hidden in the print cost.

Do you deliver to Dodoma?+
Yes. Government offices, schools and businesses in Dodoma order signage, banners and event branding delivered from Dar with the transport line written into the quote.

Coast, Morogoro and Tanga
Do you serve Morogoro?+
Yes. Morogoro — Sokoine University area included — orders banners, signage and event print delivered on the Dar corridor, often within days because the route runs daily.

Can beach hotels and resorts on the coast order full branding?+
Yes. Resort signage, direction systems, menu boards and event backdrops are quoted as one programme with materials specified for salt air and strong sun.

Yes. Hotel signage, restaurant menu boards, excursion boat branding and guest materials for Stone Town and the east-coast resorts are produced and quoted as complete programmes.
Is there a minimum order for Zanzibar jobs?+
No minimum, but the shipping line makes small orders proportionally dearer — combining items into one shipment is the sensible move, and the quote will show that honestly.
For your type of business
What branding does a new small business in Tanzania actually need first?+
Three things, in order: a shop sign people can read from the road, a stamp and receipt book so you can transact, and business cards so contacts survive. Everything else — banners, flyers, vehicle branding — grows after the foundation exists, and each step is quoted separately so a new business never overbuys.
Do you print for schools and colleges?+
Yes. School work runs on the academic calendar: welcome banners in January, termly parents’ days, sports meets, graduation sets in the last quarter. Whole-year programmes are quoted as one package with the school’s colours kept consistent across every event.
Can you brand a church, mosque or NGO campaign?+
Yes. Churches and mosques order event banners, backdrops, directional signage and programme print; NGOs and CBOS order campaign materials, field banners, branded vests and report covers, with institutional invoicing on LPO terms.
What print does a restaurant or bar need to open?+
The opening set: an exterior sign (lightbox if you trade at night), contravision or lettering on the glass, menu boards that survive steam and wiping, printed menus whose artwork is kept on file for price changes, washroom signs, and staff wear. One programme, one design language.
Do you brand pharmacies and clinics?+
Yes. Lightbox or 3D lettering for street visibility, mandatory signage, glass contravision, price boards and prescription pads, quoted as one job so the whole premises speaks with one look.
I run a salon or barbershop. What works for me?+
A small lightbox or shaped fascia, a service price board, window lettering, and loyalty or price cards. Salons live on repeat customers, so the print that matters most is the sign that gets them in the first time.
Do you serve hardware shops, garages and workshops?+
Yes. Industrial customers order durable signage, banner ads, reflective branding for trucks and pickups, and stamps, with materials specified for dust, oil and weather.
Can a minibusiness selling on WhatsApp and Instagram get labels and packaging?+
Yes, and it is one of our fastest-growing order types: product labels on waterproof stock, thank-you stickers, branded packaging tape and seal stickers, in runs small enough for a business that is just starting.
Do you print for SACCOs, cooperatives and groups?+
Yes. Membership cards, AGM banners, report booklets, branded folders and committee signage are quoted as programmes, and group orders get the volume pricing the combined quantity earns.
What can a bodaboda rider or daladala owner order?+
Reflective and UV-coated branding for the bike or daladala, phone-number stickers that survive rain, and helmet branding for fleets. Small jobs are welcome and priced the same national way.
Occasions and seasons
How early should I order Ramadan and Eid printing?+
Two to three weeks before the month starts is comfortable, because every mosque, restaurant and retailer in the country is printing at once. Ramadhan Kareem banners, iftar event branding and Eid greeting materials ordered early get better scheduling and pricing.
Do you print wedding packages across Tanzania?+
Yes. Invitation cards, photo backdrops, entrance arches, table numbers, car stickers and favour tags in one matched design, installed by our crew or delivered. Wedding orders peak Saturday to Saturday; early ordering secures your date.
Can you print funeral and memorial materials respectfully and quickly?+
Yes, and speed matters there: memorial banners, service programmes and thank-you cards are produced on rush timelines with dignified, simple designs, handled the same day when needed.
Do you print election and campaign materials?+
Yes: candidate banners, posters, t-shirts, caps and vehicle branding, with materials specified for months of outdoor sun. Campaign cycles are quoted at volume pricing because the quantities are real.
What about Christmas, New Year and seasonal sales?+
Yes. Retail seasonal campaigns — Christmas windows, New Year sales, back-to-school and Black-Friday-style promotions — are printed as coordinated sets: banners, posters, stickers and staff wear that land before the season starts, not after.
Can graduation printing be done for the whole institution?+
Yes. Backdrops, banners, badges, programmes and guest direction signage for graduation days are quoted as one package per institution, with the school crest and colours carried across every item.
Do you do birthday and party print?+
Yes: personalised banners, backdrops, cupcake toppers and favour stickers for birthdays, baby showers and send-off parties, in runs from a single banner upward.
Mnavyo print kwa ajili ya mazishi haraka?+
Ndiyo.
Artwork, proofs and process
What file format should I send?+
Whatever you have. Print-ready PDF, AI, PSD, PNG or high-resolution JPG all work; if the file is not print-ready, the in-house designer converts or rebuilds it at no charge.
Can I see a proof before you print?+
Yes. Every job gets an approval mockup on WhatsApp before production starts — you see exactly what will print, and nothing runs until you say go.
How many design revisions do I get?+
Revisions run until you approve, because the design is part of the job. What is unlimited is getting the layout right; what is fixed is the scope — a logo redesign or a new concept mid-job is quoted separately and only if you ask for it.
My logo is only on my phone as a photo. Is that enough?+
Usually yes. The designer redraws or traces phone-photo logos into clean print artwork as part of the free design service, and you approve the redrawn version before anything prints.
Will the printed colours match what I see on my screen?+
Screens glow and paper reflects, so exact-match claims are dishonest. What we do: keep colour references from your approved proof, print with calibrated production, and state honestly when a screen colour cannot be reproduced on a given material.
Can you print my artwork exactly as I sent it, no changes?+
Yes. Send print-ready files at the correct size and they print as supplied — the proof stage simply confirms size, bleed and resolution before production.
What if I approve and then want a change after printing?+
Changes after approval are handled honestly: if the fault is ours, we remake at our cost; if the approved artwork itself changes, the reprint is quoted at production cost. This is why the proof stage matters — it protects both sides.
Do you keep my artwork on file for reorders?+
Yes. Approved artwork and colour references are kept, so a reorder weeks or months later is a WhatsApp message, not a redesign.
Products in detail
Business cards: matte, gloss or laminated?+
Matte reads elegant and takes pen notes; gloss makes photos and colour pop; lamination adds months of life to a card that lives in wallets. Quantities from small starter runs to bulk boxes, and the quote shows what each finish costs at your quantity.
Flyers and leaflets: what quantities make sense in Tanzania?+
Street distribution lives on volume: runs in the thousands are normal for launches and promotions, while a salon or restaurant may only need a few hundred quality pieces. Paper weight is chosen for the job — light for mass handouts, heavier for counters and displays.
Do you print posters for walls and shops?+
Yes, from A3 shop-window posters to large-format wall posters, on indoor or outdoor stock, with UV coating specified wherever sun will touch them.
Can you print on mugs, medals and gifts?+
Yes. Branded mugs, medals, plaques and corporate gifts are part of the promotional range — popular for company milestones, school prizes, conference giveaways and staff recognition.
Company profiles and booklets: what do you need from me?+
The text and images (or we help structure them), the page count and the finish. Booklets are printed with stitched or bound spines, and institutional clients receive formal invoices for LPO processing.
Do you print calendars and diaries for companies?+
Yes. Wall calendars, desk calendars and branded diaries ordered in the last quarter for the new year — companies hand them to clients in December, so October–November ordering is the sensible window.
Stamps: rubber or self-inking?+
Self-inking stamps suit office desks that stamp all day; cheaper rubber stamps with a separate pad suit occasional use. Both are cut while you wait on standard jobs.
Receipt books, invoice books and NEMA-style numbered books?+
Yes, printed with numbering and perforation as standard, in the duplicating formats Tanzanian businesses transact with. Bring your layout or have the designer set it.
Rollup, tear drop or X-banner: which do I need?+
Rollup for indoor reuse and travel; tear drop for outdoor wind; X-banner for the cheapest stable indoor display. Event kits often carry two rollups and two tear drops to cover both worlds.
Wheel covers and spare-wheel branding for safari vehicles?+
Yes. Measured to the wheel, UV-coated and stitched for park roads, with fleet pricing for tour companies branding whole convoys.
